The Chicago Bulls improved to 18-21 on the season with a 124-119 victory over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, January 10, at the United Center.

The Bulls were led by guard Coby White, who scored a game high 30 points in the win over the Rockets. Down the stretch, coach Billy Donovan said he stuck with the starters in the fourth quarter and chose to go with an offensive line up over a defensive line up to close out the game.

“I have a lot of confidence in Vooch, I have lot of confidence in DeMar, Zach and Coby,” said Donovan to the Crusader about trusting his starters down the stretch.

Donovan said when it comes to closing out games down the stretch, he trusts the defensive effort and offensive decision making of center Nikola Vucevic, forward DeMar DeRozan, guards Zach LaVine and Coby White.

The four starters combined for 92 of the teams 124 points over four quarters of play. The team (as a whole ) also outscored the Rockets 28-24 in the first quarter, 34-30 in the second quarter, 32-29 in the third quarter and 12-7 in OT.
