Following a tough loss to Cleveland, the Bulls earn a huge win over the Raptors

Following a blowout loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night, the Chicago Bulls improved to 20-23 on the season with a 116-110 victory over the Toronto Raptors.

The Bulls were led by center Nikola Vucevic who finished with 24 points and 14 rebounds in 35 minutes of play. The big man also added seven assists in the contest.

“I knew I had a little bit of a size advantage and I was trying to take advantage of it,” said Vucevic, via the Associated Press.

Both Vucevic and DeMar DeRozan teamed up and scored 24 points each in the win over the Raptors on Thursday, January 18, 2024.

The two combined for 48 points. In addition to the great play of Vucevic and DeRozan, guard Coby White finished third in team scoring with 23 points and eight rebounds. White made several spectacular moves throughout the game, breaking down the Raptors defense with dribble penetration and tough finishes around the basket.

Chicago outscored Toronto 38-27 in the first quarter and 26-24 in the fourth quarter to close out the game.

Final Score: Bulls 116, Raptors 110

With the victory, the Bulls earned their 20th win of the regular season and are now three games under .500 in the win column.
