Chicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney will host his 1st youth football camp at the McCook Athletic Complex from 1 to 4 p.m. July 9.
Mooney and camp coaches will provide a day of fun and football, where attendees will interact with Mooney, enjoy skills and drills, participate in contests, earn awards, and play non-contact games. The camp is open to all youth aged 8 to 16. Each camper will receive a T-shirt, a group photo auto session with Mooney, and items from camp sponsors.
“Giving back to the community and providing these opportunities to youth is important to me,” Mooney said. “When I was young, I was lucky enough to attend a Merril Hoge football camp that inspired me and created fond memories.”
