After losing to the Toronto Raptors at the UC on Tuesday,  the Chicago Bulls earned a 117-110 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, January 31, on the road.

The Bulls were led by guard Coby White, who scored a game-high 35 points and dished out nine assists in the victory.

“I personally don’t think he was happy the way he played (Tuesday) night,” said Bulls coach Billy Donovan via the Associated Press. “And that’s the one thing I admire and respect about him is he’s very introspective. He can course correct pretty quickly. … He was really aggressive, he got downhill and did a lot of really good things and opened up things for himself and our team.”

White had a bounce back night offensively, scoring 35 points versus his home town team on Wednesday night. He was held to only 13 points against the Raptors at the UC, according to ESPN.

In addition to his 35 points, he finished Wednesday’s game with four three-pointers and seven rebounds, while going 12 of 22 from the field.

White’s big night helped the Bulls outscore the Raptors 28-27 in the first quarter, 29-27 in the third quarter and 31-24 in the fourth quarter to close out the game.

Final score: Bulls 117, Hornets 110

With the win, the Bulls improved to 23-26 on the season and will play their next game on Saturday, February 3, against the Sacramento Kings. Game time 7 p.m. at the United Center.
