After earning a win against Memphis on Thursday night, the Chicago Bulls would lose to Orlando 114-108 in overtime on Saturday, February 10, on the road.

The Bulls were led by center Nikola Vucevic, who finished second in team scoring with 26 points and grabbed 17 rebounds versus his former team in the loss.

“I think foul trouble really exhausted our team, quite honestly,” said coach Billy Donovan via the Associated Press. “I thought we were really tired coming down the stretch. I don’t want to use that as an excuse, but I just felt like we were gassed.”

According to Bulls PR, Vucevic had his 2nd game this season with at least 25 points and 15 rebounds. He is 1 of 9 NBA players with multiple 25 points and 15 rebound games in 2023-24 and ranks 2nd all-time in team history with 12 such games with Chicago (trails Artis Gilmore – 42).

Chicago was outscored 26-24 in the first quarter, 21-15 in the third quarter and 13-7 in OT. Bulls PR added, guard Ayo Dosunmu made 3 three-point field goals in the second quarter versus Orlando, matching the most three point gield goals he has made in any quarter in his career. Dosunmu is averaging a career-best 1.2 three-pointers per game this season according to @bball_ref. He finished with 19 points and five three pointers on Saturday.

Forward DeMar DeRozan scored a team high 28 points and guard Coby White added 14 points and seven assist.

Final score: Chicago 108, Orlando 114

With the loss, the Bulls are now 25-28 on the season and will play the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, February 12, on the road. Game time 6 p.m.

With his first three-point field goal made in Saturday’s game, White now has 150 three-point field goals this season. White reached the mark in 53 games, becoming the 2nd-fastest player in Bulls history to reach 150 three-point field goals in a season (Z. LaVine – 43 gms in 2020-21, 49 gms in 2019-20, 53 gms in 2021-22), said Bulls PR.
