Bulls get much needed win over Portland Trail Blazers to close out west coast road trip

In their third game of the west coast road trip, the Chicago Bulls beat the Portland Trail Blazers 104-96 on Sunday, January 28, on the road. 

The Bulls finished their west road trip with a 1-2 record and improved to 22-25 on the season. Guard Ayo Dosunmu made a huge three pointer late in the fourth quarter to close out the game. 

Chicago outscored Portland 26-23 in the first quarter, 27-19 in the second quarter and 28-21 in the final quarter of play. 

Forward DeMar DeRozan led the Bulls in scoring with 20 points on 8 of 14 shooting from the field. 

According to Bulls PR, guard Coby White scored 15 points and guard Ayo Dosunmu added 11 points versus Portland in the win. Dosunmu has extended his career-long double-digit scoring streak to 7-straight games (1/13-1/28), while White has had 10 plus points in his career-best 34th-straight game (11/18-1/28). 

Final Score: Bulls 104, Trail Blazers 96  

Following their victory over Portland on Sunday night, the Bulls will return home to play the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, January 30. Game time 7 p.m.
