Bulls crowned by Kings 123-115 at the United Center

The Chicago Bulls could not stop the Sacramento Kings offense on Saturday night, losing 123-115 at the United Center.

Kings guard De’Aaron Fox dropped a game-high 41 points versus Chicago’s defense. The Bulls were down 30 points at one point during Saturday’s game.

“I feel like we’re learning from our mistakes and we know when a team makes a run, you know we just got to lock in for those last couple minutes,” said Domantas Sabonis via the Associated Press.

In spite of losing by eight points, the Bulls outscored the Kings 29-20 in the third quarter and 34-32 in the fourth quarter to close out the game.

According to Bulls PR, point guard Coby White notched a team-high 26 points (10-18 FG, 4-7 3FG), alongside six rebounds and four assists in 37 minutes. White leads the Bulls this season in games with at least 25 points and five rebounds (10). White has also scored 10-plus points in a career-high 37-straight games – only five other NBA guards wield as long of a streak this season.

In addition to White’s strong offensive effort, Bulls center Nikola Vucevic recorded 24 points (10-18 FG, .556 FG%), 12 rebounds, three assists and one steal in 34 minutes of play. Vučević has tallied 26 double-doubles this season and has recorded no less than 40 double-doubles in a season in five consecutive campaigns (2018-23), Bulls PR noted.

Final score: Bulls 115, Kings 123

The Bulls are now 23-27 on the season. The team will play their next game on Tuesday, February 6, versus the Minnesota Timberwolves at the United Center. Game time 7 p.m.
