Approximately 200 guests witnessed the honorees receiving the Outstanding Service Award. They were also feted with a delicious dinner and gifts.

The guest speaker for this event was Dr. Sha’tu A. Dailey, the founder of Dailey Strategies, Inc. where she provides mentoring, adult life coaching and community engagement workshops.

One of the highlights of the program was the presentation of a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior female from the Gary Community School Corporation. This year’s recipient is Andrianna Johnson, student at Wirt-Emerson VPA.
