Town hall meeting for families without justice

Pastor Marvin Hunter, the great uncle of LaQuan McDonald, is hosting a town hall meeting at 5 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2019, at the Grace Memorial Baptist Church, 1457 So. Kenneth Ave., Chicago, IL, to hear from those who have lost loved ones to violence but have yet to receive justice.

Guest panelists are: Maggie Hickey, Independent Federal Monitor, Karl Brinson, president, NAACP Westside Chapter and Pastor Marvin Hunter. They will talk about these injustices.

Invited panelists include: Mayor Lori Lightfoot, Attorney General Kwame Raoul, Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx and Joe Ferguson, City of Chicago Inspector General.

Those who have lost a loved one to violence and have yet to receive justice should attend this meeting.
