Jason Akers, General Manager, and the staff of Team Toyota on 41 in Schererville, have not only been long-time supporters of the life saving mission of the American Heart Association as local presenting sponsors for the Go Red for Women Movement in Northwest Indiana, but it is a passion that they continue to charge forward with – raising $20,000 through their May fundraiser this year. The dealership donated $100 of every new car that was sold during the month of May this year. Since their engagement began in 2015, Team Toyota has driven over $100,000 in funding advancements of education, community awareness, and research for heart and stroke disease in women locally.
