Santita Jackson new Morning Drive host On WCPT 820-AM

WCPT 820-AM announced the addition of Santita Jackson as host of its morning drive program, Monday thru Friday, 6 to 8 a.m. “The Santita Jackson Show” will begin Monday, June 3, 2019, on Chicago’s progressive talk station.

“We are so elated that Santita will be hosting the morning drive on WCPT. Santita has a dynamic, engaging personality and she will connect well with our listeners,” WCPT General Manager Mark Pinski said. “With Santita live and local in the morning, followed by Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Joan Esposito, and Rick Ungar, this is the best Monday thru Friday progressive line-up in WCPT history.”

Jackson hosted mornings on WVON radio from 2006 – 2011 and was a political commentator on FOX News from 2012-2018. Presently, she is the co-host, producer and executive producer of “Keep Hope Alive,” a nationally syndicated radio program. Jackson also spent eight years as the director of the Rainbow Push Television Studios.

“I am excited and thrilled to be joining the WCPT team, especially at this time, as the progressive voice in America seeks more platforms to serve and express the needs of the people,” Jackson said.

WCPT began airing in 2004 with Air America and is Chicago’s progressive talk radio station. Its Monday thru Friday lineup includes Santita Jackson, Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Joan Esposito, and Rick Ungar. Weekends feature Dick Kay, Hal Sparks, Scott Duff and Ellen Miller, among other programming.

Today, WCPT is the biggest progressive talk station in the country, and can also be heard on wcpt820.com, and on the TuneIn app.
