September 9, 2016. Trinity United Church of Christ and Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III, are proud to announce the annual Mission Revival taking place Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 7:00pm at 400 W 95th Street in Chicago. As Mission Revival always seeks to further educate the public on social justice issues this year’s program will also include a discussion featuring Rev. Otis Moss III and President of Chicago Principals and Administrators Association, Troy LaRaviere, who was recently removed as principal at a top elementary school and has been a staunch critic of Mayor Emanuel’s management of the school system.

Trinity UCC is also happy to welcome back Rev. Dr. Frederick D. Haynes, III as the featured guest speaker. For the past 31 years Rev. Haynes has served as Senior Pastor at Friendship-West Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. He has received numerous awards and honors for both his ministry and social activism work.

Donations made at Mission Revival will benefit Our Church’s Wider Mission which supports ministry beyond the walls of the church for the United Church of Christ. Among other things, OCWM seeks to engage members in shaping public policy in keeping with God’s vision of a just and loving society.

This event is free and open to the public.
