The Rainbow PUSH Coalition is holding an informational meeting 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Thursday, April 20th, in the Evans Chapel, 930 E. 50th Street, to discuss Illinois’ Hardest Hit program aimed at helping senior homeowners who are behind in their property taxes but whose taxes have not been bought in a delinquent tax sale.
Under this state program, homeowners can receive assistance with their delinquent property taxes for up to two-years as well as help towards their medical bills.
Before your property is sold for back taxes, attend Thursday’s PUSH housing meeting to learn about the available funds you can receive to get your property off the delinquent list.
