Powerful Procter & Gamble ad campaign on racial bias goes viral

By Alexis Rogers, wlwt.com

Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble – one of the world’s largest advertisers – has a new ad about inclusion and equality that has started a national conversation about race.

Brand director of North America Procter & Gamble Kristine Decker said decades and decades of tough conversations are now serving as conversation starters for a campaign that will be seen all throughout the Cincinnati Music Festival.

“What we can’t do is keep it in the black community. We need to cross over and make sure everyone hears this conversation,” Decker said.

The story behind P&G’s My Black is Beautiful campaign’s new ad called “The Talk” has become a sobering look at common “dinner time conversations” in minority households.
