The Gary SouthShore RailCats are proud to announce a new addition to the Steel Yard, the Creekside Bar.
“The Creekside Bar is the newest addition to the FANtastic Family Fun experience at the Steel Yard” said RailCats General Manager Brian Flenner. “Fans are going to be excited to experience the quality beverages and fantastic views from this unique area!”
The Creekside Bar will feature bar top seating, draft beer, mixed drinks and more. Designed and built by Creekside Outdoor Living in Crown Point, the bar is a high-end addition to the experience of a RailCats game.
“Pop-Up Bar” Wednesdays,” at Creekside will feature single day, pop culture pop-up bars. Each Wednesday’s game will feature a different pop-up bar and ballpark theme with drink and food specials based on the theme.
The Big Giant Head and Tommy Pickles might not usually hang out, but they’re likely to join Carl Winslow, Homer Simpson, and Ron Swanson at the all-new Creekside Bar right behind home plate.
Wednesday night games will move to a special “Happy Hour” start time of 6:45 p.m.

- “Pop-Up Versus the Big Giant Head” – 3rd Rock from the Sun (June 5, 6:45 p.m.)
- “Tommy’s First Pop-Up Bar” – Rugrats (June 12, 12:10 p.m.)
- “Everything Rhymes with Pop Up Bar” – Parks & Recreation (July 17, 6:45 p.m.)
- “Legends of the Pop Up Bar” – Legends of the Hidden Temple (July 31, 12:10 p.m.)
- “Mmm…. Pop Up Bar” – The Simpsons (August 7, 6:45 p.m.)
- “Did Pop Up Bar Do That?” – Family Matters (August 14, 6:45 p.m.)
- “Thank You for Being A Pop Up Bar” – Golden Girls (August 21, 6:45 p.m.)
