Members of the community and elected officials will join Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago (NHS) for the Woodlawn Winter Housing Expo. The event is free and open to the public.
The Woodlawn Winter Housing Expo will feature:
· Comprehensive Workshops for Renters and Homeowners
· Home Repair Resource Tables
· Property Tax Savings Information
· A Homebuyer Trolley Tour
· Information From Local Organizations, Health Care Facilities and Small Businesses
“Whether we are providing direct resources to you through grants and down payment assistance, or serving as a connector to help you obtain information or resources, we’re here for you, even in the wintertime,” said Tiffany Smith, NHS Associate Director for South Side Strategies.
