The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) has selected Natasha S. Alford, deputy editor and digital host at TheGrio.com, as the Michael J. Feeney Emerging Journalist for 2018.
This award recognizes a black print, broadcast, digital or photojournalist with less than five years of experience in the industry. Nominees, through their hard work and service, must display a commitment to NABJ’s goals of outstanding achievement and providing balanced coverage of the black community and society at large.
