A new filing reveals George Zimmerman has been making threats at a private investigator and has now been handed a misdemeanor stalking charge.
Zimmerman, who was found not guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin in 2012, is reported to have sent 67 text messages, 27 emails, left 36 voicemails and made 55 phone calls to the victim in 90 days, according to Florida’s Seminole County Sheriff’s Office per ClickOrlando.com.
Among the threats he is said to have issued to Dennis Warren, one said the PI was “on his way to the inside of a gator.”
The affidavit revealed Warren got in touch with Zimmerman in September after he was hired by the production company, The Cinemart, which is behind the upcoming documentary, “Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story.” The report noted Warren only made one attempt to contact Zimmerman, leaving a voicemail on Sept. 21 about his involvement in the Jay-Z-produced doc.
