Computer Skills and Training Center (CSTC) and Center of Workforce Innovations (CWI) Launches the Adult Learning Center in Gary, Indiana
In response to the urgent needs of the community, Dennis Walton, Founder and CEO of CSTC, is joining forces with CWI to open an Adult Learning Center in Gary, Indiana. To mark this significant occasion, an Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024.

The Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn more about the offerings, meet the dedicated staff, and tour the CSTC that offer specialized training in the five main building trades.
The mission of CSTC is committed to uplifting individuals of all ages by providing diverse pathways for education and workforce training. The center aims to lead many towards successful living, ultimately empowering individuals spiritually, academically, socially, vocationally, and economically.
Specialized Training for Skilled Trades at CSTC is open to all adult learners and will offer specialized training for individuals interested in pursuing careers in the construction skilled trades. The curriculum includes career paths in construction, carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, and roofing. Students will engage in hands-on, work-based learning and have opportunities to earn the prestigious National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certification.
We are excited to partner with the CWI. Together, we will help prepare more Northwest Indiana residents for careers in the five main, in-demand building trades.
