The local Gary Chapter of AARP welcomed all to their regular monthly AARP meeting featuring the Indiana State AARP President, Joe Everett as special guest speaker. The Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services Director, LaShawn Brooks, also participated in the meeting.
The meeting was held Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Du Bois Library, 1835 Broadway.
AARP representatives say local AARP chapters are always looking for members. The organization offers an array of benefits and is a great place to find opportunities to help others.
