$3.6 million winning Illinois Lottery ticket was sold in Lincolnwood

“New Year New Me” might just be the case for one Illinois Lottery player after winning a jaw-dropping $3,600,000 on an Illinois Lottery scratch-off ticket.

The winning ticket, 20 Years of Cash, was purchased at a CVS pharmacy, located at 3950 W. Devon Ave. in Lincolnwood, about 10 miles north of downtown Chicago.

With the 20 Years of Cash $10 scratch-off ticket, players can win up to $25,000 per month for 20 years. However, this lucky winner chose a one-time cash payment of $3.6 million.

This is also an exciting win for CVS in Lincolnwood, as the store will receive a selling bonus of one percent of the prize amount, or $36,000.

Overall in 2023, Illinois Lottery players purchased over 67 million winning scratch-off tickets, netting players nearly $1.5 billion in prizes.
