Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Finer Womanhood Program

The Finer Womanhood Observance Banquet was held Sunday, March 26 at the Chateau Banquet Hall. The Zeta Theta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., sponsored the event and Shelley M. Fisher was the guest speaker for the event. During the program, a $700 scholarship was presented to Wirt-Emerson senior Diavivian Miller and women trailblazers were recognized.

Founded in 1920, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority is classified as a non-profit service organization with membership exceeding 100,000 college educated professional women. The membership operates within eight regions in more than 700 chapters located in domestic United States, Hawaii, Alaska, Africa, West Germany, Bahamas Islands, Virgin Islands. In addition to being the only organization constitutionally bound to a fraternity, the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority was the first to charter international chapters. (Photos by Ted Brown)
