Summertime Chicago is filled with many great activities. Last Saturday, the heat was high but didn’t stop young entrepreneurs from coming out and vending their products. Thirty-two youth vendors set up at Oakwood Center, located at 3825 S. Vincennes Ave. in Chicago. Vendors included 18 business owners under the age of 18 and 14 business owners under the age of 14. The event was given by young entrepreneur Zacharion “DREAM” Townsend, Founder of Dream in Color Clothing. The event was a special occasion for Dream. He celebrated his eighth birthday and his first expo. Dream also created A “Stop Bullying” campaign. The campaign promotes awareness for children who’ve been bullied. The room was filled with supporters of all ages, many of whom are featured in this photo. There’s always something good in Chicago neighborhoods.
