Wholistic Living Festival shares healthy lifestyle changes

A “free to the public” Wholistic Living Festival will be held by the organization, Devoted 2 Healing, on Saturday, April 30, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at 5:00 p.m. at the Trustee Circle of Services, 2835 165th Street, Hammond, IN 46323.

The Wholistic Living Festival is a tri-annual event that is offered during the months of April, August and November each year. Devoted 2 Healing advocates and supports Eastern and Western medical practitioners working together to balance body, mind, and spirit.

Devoted 2 Healing (D2H) is a nonprofit organization that helps to empower people to make informed lifestyle choices. Especially disabled adults, veterans, seniors, those with life-threatening illness or recovering from life-threatend illness. We emphasize education and informed lifestyle choices regarding nutrition, exercise, relaxation, and other tools for a healthy life. Since November 2014, D2H has gathered a wide array of regional expert practitioners to share their knowledge and wisdom with the public.

Fran Capoccia and Madeline Wilson will be the presenters at this event.

Fran Capoccia, an ordained minister, raw food chef, registered nurse, teacher and author, will share her knowledge about the “spiritual roots of disease.” Capoccia says, “These roots can be critical to a person’s ability and even desire to seek healing. Once these issues are addressed, other healing practices and life-style changes can be effective in eradicating diseases.”

Attendees will be taught how to impact their overall health and spirituality with this simple cost-effective technique that was allegedly used by Cleopatra.

Alternative lifestyle vendors and practitioners will offer delicious vegan snacks and meals and various healing modalities. Blood pressure screening will be available.

Willie Miller and his Jazz Gang will provide entertainment for the event.
