BET is serving up a supersized sneak peek of this Summer’s guiltiest pleasure – dance drama “HIT THE FLOOR!” The steamy series will continue to explore the fame, money, power and sex in professional basketball through the eyes of the LA Devils and its dance team, the Devil Girls. Fans can expect familiar faces, as well as new dancers and basketball players who will fight to stake their claim under the red hot spotlight of Devils Nation. In the new super trailer, fans get their first look at some of the jaw-dropping drama to come.
This season will see the return of prodigal star Derek (McKinley Freeman), who has an intense run-in with his new father-in-law, coach Pete (Dean Cain). Meanwhile, shrewd Lionel (Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) has a sexy encounter with the mysterious new Eve (Tiffany Hines), who joins the league with surprising ties to Devils Nation. Devil Girl captain Kyle (Katherine Bailess), and rising star Jude (Brent Antonello) both return as power players on the chess board of Devils Arena, while German (Jonathan “Lil J” McDaniel) returns in an unexpected way. We will also meet new dancers battling for the throne of the LA Devil Girls – talented choreographer London (Teyana Taylor) looking for a fresh start after what looks like a very public affair, pitted against the ambitious Jamie (Kyndall Ferguson) who is fighting for her chance to shine. Rookie Devils player Pax (Cort King) arrives on the court looking to prove himself, and then there’s sideline reporter Noah (Kristian Kordula), who walks a fine line between making the news and reporting it.
Guest stars this season include Tank, Terrence J, and everyone’s favorite “Housewife” – the fabulous Erika Jayne!
