On March 9th at 9 p.m. Chicago/Gary Crusader Editor and Publisher Dorothy R. Leavell will be the guest on The Munir Muhammad Show. Hosted by Mandene Muhammad, the two discussed the history and future of the 84-year-old newspaper. During the live call-in program on Ch. 25, Mrs. Leavell talked about the importance of advertisements, subscriptions, and maintaining independent Black media.
