THE CITY OF Gary’s annual Memorial Day Parade was held Monday, May 26. The parade featured several floats sponsored by local businesses and government entities, along with the display of vehicles from the Gary Police and Fire Departments. Following the parade, a program honoring the local veterans was held at Buffington Park. State Senator Mark Spencer was among the speakers at the event.
