The Black Foodies kicks off the Taste and Tour of the City of Chicago with a culinary experience like no other Saturday November 3rd 2018 from 10:00 AM to 4 PM at 17545 S. Halsted Homewood, IL 60425 stopping at historic landmarks and taste cuisines from some of The Black Foodies 5-Kiss restaurants and taste from the South Side of Chicago to the North.
The tour will taste cuisines from some of The Black Foodies 5-Kiss restaurants which includes Surf’s Up, Slab Bar-B-Que, Slice of Bronzeville, 14 Parish, Kurah Mediterranean Restaurant, and My Chocolate Soul with a few surprise restaurants to be added soon. The tour is scheduled to stop at Chicago’s historic landmarks for quick photo ops while in between guest will play games of Chicago trivia for some great prize giveaways.
The Black Foodies are husband and wife food lovers dedicated to reviewing black owned and other ethnic restaurants nationwide. They share recipes and post about all things food. The have been married for 26 years with five children.
Cost includes transportation, on-board (non-alcoholic) drinks, all selected food tastings and tour of Chicago.
