When PIGMENT-Intl, the artists’ collective, debuts its “curated art experience” “Art on the Avenue” this Thursday, August 16 at “The Club“ at the Chicago Symphony Center it will include works by some of the premier artists in Chicago. Works on display will be by Paul Branton, Gerald Griffin, Jason E. Jones, Blake Lenoir, James Nelson, Dana Todd Pope, Pearlie Taylor, Raymond Thomas, Martha Wade, Minnie Watkins and Reisha Williams. The event is from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm at 220 S Michigan Ave. During the event, the organization will reveal its plans for the Pigment International Fine Art’s Tour (PIFAT) beginning with Art Miami/Art Basel 2018.
Other highlights include a live and silent auction, and cuisine catered by Blue Plate Catering, appropriately paired with exquisite wine and spirit selections. Music will be provided by nationally syndicated AfroBeats DJSheila O.
Pigment-Intl’s mission is to create unique spaces for connection and conversation among artists, gallerists, curators, and collectors. The intent is to heighten global awareness of multi-cultural artists and the value of their work.
Tickets for this spectacular curated experience are $30 in advance and $40 the night of the event and may be purchased on Event Brite.
