Indiana is one of the unhealthiest states in the country, and it is time to change that. The Alliance for a Healthier Indiana will hold town hall meetings where community leaders, public safety workers, health care providers, and elected officials can hear about Indiana’s poor health rankings and the Alliance’s plans for 2018 and beyond.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of and share ideas with our expert presenters. In East Chicago, presenters include:

The Town Hall meetings are free and open to the public, but the Alliance asks that each attendee bring a package of diapers to donate to the diaper bank at Franciscan Health. The diaper bank distributes donations to northwest Indiana families through community partners, including Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana’s Nurse-Family Partnership.
