Summer registration begins for NEO Adult Education program in Portage

NEO Adult Education is a free comprehensive adult education program that is open to Indiana residents who are 16 years of age or older who are not currently enrolled in school. Students who are 16 or 17 must have a signed exit interview form from their previous school. NEO’s highly-qualified teachers support students’ efforts to pass Indiana’s High School Equivalency (HSE) Diploma Exam (previous GED), remediate skills for personal or work purposes, prepare for high stakes high school or college entrance exams, learn English as a second language, or study for the U.S. Citizenship test. NEO is also offering pathways to earning career certifications for in-demand jobs.

Over the past three years, NEO Adult Ed has assisted over five hundred students in obtaining their diplomas, and begin a pathway to success.

NEO Adult Ed will hold registration for classes over the span of two days, July 10th and 11th, or July 11th and 12th. The intake process will start promptly at 9 a.m. and will be held at 5201 US Highway 6, Portage, IN. There is a one time $20 registration fee.
