Hands-on Aerospace and STEM Learning Opportunities and Exhibits for all Ages
The Starbase Indiana Gary invites you to attend its second annual Full Steam Ahead, a hands-on Aerospace and STEM event presenting learning opportunities and exhibits for all ages. This free, family-friendly event in the Northwest Indiana area will be hosted at Gary Indiana National Guard Armory on Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
We will offer opportunities to interact with Aerospace and STEM professionals as well as tasty treats from local Gary food trucks. Our generous sponsors include MissionAero Pipeline, STARBASE Indiana – Gary, Indiana Army National Guard, Junior Achievement, Ethereal Lifestyle LLC, and Calumet College of St Joseph. We will have over 20 Steam vendors, presentations, etc.
We’ll also have the following to excite and educate the whole community in STEM:
*Drones
*Workshops related to Aerospace/STEM Careers in the Insurance Industry/ Computers
*Monologue by GiGi Coleman a great niece of Bessie Coleman.
The STARBASE Indiana- Gary, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and is a multi-year training program. Starbase seeks to professionalize youth for post-secondary career paths.
