On Saturday, July 1, 2017 the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Illinois (SCDAI) will host its 43rd Annual Walk-Jog-Bike-A-Thon, a healthy living competition and one of the oldest outdoor fund- raisers in Chicago.
The event regularly attracts loyal participants from all walks of life to the shores of Lake Michigan.
The WJBAT brings together individuals who support more than 4,000 people with sickle cell disease in Illinois. This year’s fund- raising goal is $100,000. Visit sicklecelldiseaseillinois.org/walk-jog- bike-a-thon for details.
