You are invited to be a member of the audience at the next Gary for Life Call-in
The Call-in is an important message from Gary for Life. Its primary purpose is to deliver a clear message to gang/group members, and their associates. They will also hear a message from law enforcement, community members and social service providers. You will observe law enforcement warn group members that violence will attract enhanced enforcement attention from local, state, and federal agencies to entire groups for the violent crimes they are committing. The Community will have the opportunity to share with group members the damage their violence is causing and that it must stop. The Call-in will also feature social service providers who are charged with a message that help is available for those seeking to change their lives.
We are asking you to be a part of this important message. By sitting in the audience which surrounds these gang/group members, you will have the opportunity to show that our community disapproves of the violence and that it has to stop. Your presence also conveys hope to each participant. Hope they will need to embrace a better life. The Call-in is scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Thursday, July 18th, 2019 at Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church, 2323 W. 11th Avenue , Gary. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time. Doors will close promptly at 5:30 p.m. No attendees will be admitted after that time.
