Preventing Cervical Cancer starts with the HPV Vaccine

Dr. Vida McGhee-Lewis, Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, will educate women on the prevention of cervical cancer and the HPV vaccine at Healthy Night Out with the Girls. The HPV vaccine can help reduce the risk of developing cervical and other cancers. She will talk about the importance of getting the vaccine, who should get it, when they should get it and more. Screenings and spa services will begin at 4:00 p.m. and include chair massages, mini express manicures/hand massages, bone density screenings, personal trainer consultations, and bra fittings by a certified bra fitter. Makeup consultations will be provided by A Makeup Eraser representative who will demonstrate an amazing new product. A raffle will be held after the physician presentation.

This event is open to all women.

The event will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018. Screenings and spa services begin at 4:00 p.m. Seminar begins 5:30 p.m. at the Southlake Campus, Pavilion A, Breast Care Center, 101 E. 87th Ave., Second floor, Merrillville.
