Powerful Day of Mentoring for 500+ Chicago Teens

Plus Nike Unveiling Their New Air Force 1 C.H.A.M.P.S. Edition Shoes

Saturday, June 1, is the 4th Annual C.H.A.M.P.S. “Born 2 Win” Conference calling 500 youth from across Chicago to a free day of mentorship, empowerment, live performances, workshops, networking, and inspiration.

This year’s keynote guest is Mr. Larry Miller, Nike executive and founder of the Jordan Brand, along with many other powerful speakers. Each participant will be provided a C.H.A.M.P.S. shirt, lunch, and a life-changing experience; plus, some will receive the brand new Nike Air Force 1 C.H.A.M.P.S. Edition shoes which will be unveiled at the conference (Nike will sell the limited-edition shoes nationwide raising funds dedicated to supporting the C.H.A.M.P.S. program.)

The mission of C.H.A.M.P.S. is to educate, empower, and expose African American and Latino young men beyond the four walls of the school in order to help them to achieve their dreams and goals. The program develops their mindsets through culturally relevant conversations and interactions that will help them develop the skills and habits necessary to navigate life in a positive and productive way.
