The Phillips Wildcats varsity football team improved to 5-0 on the season after a 48-0 blowout victory over Morgan Park High School on Sunday afternoon.
The game was originally scheduled for Friday night at Gatley Stadium, but it was postponed due to heavy rain conditions throughout the night.
The Mustangs defense surrendered 48 points to a Phillips team who entered the game 2-0 in conference play.
The Wildcats dominated all four quarters of play with a balance of
great defense and great offense.
