Museum of Science and Industry celebrates Black talents

WHO’S WHO AWESOME night of fun, dancing and entertainment. The Griffin Museum of Science + Industry celebrated the indispensable and significant contributions of Black creators, innovators and artists who bring their esteemed talents and vision to science, technology, engineering , the arts and mathematics. The night consisted of an opening by the South Shore Drill Team, live musical performances, dancing, and a vibrant 2025 “Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition. The main event was held in the newly renovated Rotunda. The Gala Co-Chairs were Cheryl Harris, Chief Procurement Officer, The Allstate Insurance Company and Rashod Johnson, President and CEO, Ardmore Roderick. Griffin Museum of Science and Industry Leadership team hosted the event led by Dr. Chevy Humphrey, president and CEO and David J. Vitale, the Board of Trustees Chair.
