ESPN journalist Jemele Hill will deliver the commencement address at Mumford High School’s graduation tonight.
On Tuesday, Mumford will honor her by renaming its auditorium after her.
Hill is a graduate of Mumford and Michigan State University. She also was a sports reporter for the Detroit Free Press.
Mumford Principal Angela Prince said when officials were deciding who would give the commencement address this year, Hill’s name came up repeatedly.
