McDonald’s owners to donate 2,000 turkeys to Chicagoland residents

BMOA presents 17th Annual Food for the Body & Spirit Program


On Wednesday, November 16th the Black McDonald’s Operators Association of Chicago and Northwest Indiana (BMOA) kicked-off their 17th Annual “Food for the Body & Spirit” Thanksgiving program, a community outreach event serving individuals and families in need. The McDonald’s restaurant located at 740 E. 47th Street Chicago, IL 60653 will serve as the kick-off location for this year’s free turkey giveaway. The event will be hosted by Inspiration 1390 talents Sonya Blakey, Angela & Mark.

Over the course of three additional days, the BMOA will host this event at various McDonald’s restaurant locations and end on the West Side at 5015 W. Madison. In total, 2,000 turkeys will be distributed to Chicagoland and Indiana residents.           

This is being sponsored by Yolanda Travis, McDonald’s Owner Operator and Members of BMOA Chicagoland & NW Indiana. Onsite at the events will be Sonya Blakey, Angela Martin & Mark, and Radio Personalities for Inspiration (1390).
