Problem Gambling Awareness Month is a national grassroots campaign led by the National Council on Problem Gambling to raise awareness about problem gambling. In December 2015, the Hoosier Lottery was awarded the highest possible certification for excellence in responsible gaming by the World Lottery Association (WLA). Indiana is the second U.S. lottery jurisdiction to earn this distinction. The certification is awarded to select lotteries around the world that have integrated responsible gaming into day-to-day operations and demonstrated continuous improvement in responsible gaming programs.
