Superintendent, Dr. Nathaniel Cunningham Jr., embraces the students and states, “Our students are on the cutting edge of history, becoming educational change agents. However, young lives are being flushed away with street violence, while gangs are soliciting our brilliants minds of the future. We all have a responsibility to stand for what is right, although sometimes it may be a challenge between life and death. We must, and I will stand for what is right!

Smith states, “The fate and well-being of our community is in our hands. If there is to be another generation, the present one must be able to thrive alive. God did not create us to kill or hate, but to live. We must choose to live despite those who believe otherwise. God is faithful!”
