We are at a scary and critical position in America. Basically, a huge number of Americans have lost their abilities to reason properly. MAGAs upside-down logic is top on that list. They are blinded by their bigotry. That wouldn’t be a huge problem if they kept their opinions to themselves, but they don’t; they seem hell-bent on sharing with the world their disdain for others unlike themselves.
Actually, white supremacy is the MAGA mandate, and if there is anyone who should keep their mouths closed about intelligence it would be them. For one, the major premise of their slogan, “Make America Great Again,” can be seen as extremely flawed from the standpoint of other groups of Americans. MAGA wants to take the country back to a past that is toxic. Looking back, we can see extreme oppression, maltreatment, Jim Crow lynching, slavery, and wild barbarism in the way they mishandled Blacks, Native Americans, the Japanese, and others.
On another note, many Democrats have been painted with a negative brush as a result of their seeming inability to stop the outlandish tide of Republican misbehaviors. The GOP is literally dismantling America. They seem to have no clue that they are giving up a way of life that is far superior to that which they are currently espousing (authoritarianism).
With that said, people have been looking for a “savior” of sorts among the Democrats who could figure out a way to stop this negative slide into authoritarian oblivion. Interestingly, several people have stepped forward to throw their hats into the ring. Included among these are Sen. Cory Booker, Rep. Al Green, Sen. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and Rep. Jasmine Crockett, among others.
Needless to say, the MAGA crowd appears to have a universal disregard for the intelligence of anyone who does not think like them. They tend to be clueless in the way that they ignore their own cognitive shortcomings. A recent example can be seen in their responses to democrats. One of the best examples of this is the MAGA-Esque response to Rep. Jasmine Crockett.
Of late, MAGAs have waged a war against Rep. Crockett, one of the newest champions who has stepped forward in an attempt to stem the tide of Republican malevolence. MAGAs are calling her various and sundry names. They are attacking her intelligence in the same way that they did to another stellar champion of American democracy, Vice President Kamala Harris. People called Kamala every insulting name possible! Her credentials are outstanding, yet the MAGA crowd saw her as unqualified and stupid in spite of the fact that she was the current sitting vice president of the United States.
But back to Rep. Crockett – she has emerged as an incredibly competent, intelligent, fighter for democracy for ALL AMERICANS. Unlike MAGA, her advocacy targets the disenfranchised among those who have found themselves victimized by social insecurity.
Rep. Crockett, whose star has been consistently rising, came into greater prominence after responding to an insult hurled at her regarding her eyebrows by republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG). In retaliation, Rep. Crockett indirectly alluded to MTG as “bleach blonde, bad built, butch body.” After that, the verbal skirmish was on.
When it was recently alleged that Rep. Crockett expressed a desire to forego marriage, people applauded saying that she is extremely unintelligent and it’s a good thing that she doesn’t plan to jump the broom anytime soon. They said that she couldn’t possibly pass the bar with her low intelligence (she did pass), are calling her incompetent, a “ghetto queen,” and more. This is happening even though she went to private schools, has an undergraduate degree, a juris doctorate, has passed the bar and is a Ranking member of Congress! Her logic during her speaking engagements is usually impeccable, yet MAGA’s typical responses are illogical and negative.
Ultimately, it is very clear that MAGAs are not playing with a full deck. Because of this, we truly need people like Rep. Crockett, Rep. Brooks, Rep. Al Green, Rep. Ocasio, Sen. Sanders, and everyone else who IS perceptive enough to fight the danger that is facing all Americans, including the deluded MAGA! Aluta continua!
