Legacy Foundation hosts free holiday fun fair to kick off 2020 Census

’Tis the season to be counted! Legacy Foundation, along with other Lake County, Indiana, service organizations, will host a community fair on December 18 from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at the Jean Shepherd Community Center (3031 J.F. Mahoney Drive, Hammond, IN 46323). The free event will celebrate the holidays and share information about how to ensure your family is counted in the 2020 Census.

Attendees of all ages can enjoy interactive games and light appetizers while learning about community resources and the importance of the 2020 Census. A U.S. Census Bureau representative will be on-site to answer questions regarding the 2020 Census and to assist anyone interested in applying for a job with the Census Bureau.
