J’s Breakfast Club to mark holiday and one-year anniversary with Saturday Brunch and Bling, Sunday live podcast, celebrity day and more

Time flies when you’re having fun feeding the folks of Northwest Indiana and beyond. J’s Breakfast Club, in Gary, Indiana, will mark it’s 1-year anniversary at its Broadway location on June 1st. Prior to marking this milestone, festivities will abound.

On Saturday, May 26th, the public is invited to a “Brunch & Bling” from 10am – 12 noon. Music will be provided by DJ Darknite, and Qiana Lewis will be the featured small business with offerings from Traci Lynn Jewelry. There will be featured food specials and networking opportunities.

On Sunday, May 27th, J’s Breakfast Club will team up with Carl Rayford, the host of 88.7 WGVE-FM’s “Back in the Day Block Party” Show, to host a live podcast from 2pm – 4pm. The public is invited to enjoy succulent soul food entrees and participate in an engaging discussion on family values, old school music and more.

“J’s Breakfast Club offers a loving, family-oriented vibe,” says owner Joslyn Kelly. “We plan events that are designed to bring people together for a good time and some great food. Not only Gary, but the whole region needs this!”

J’s will be closed on Memorial Day and the three days that follow for deep cleaning and maintenance. The restaurant will re-open Friday, June 1st, just in time for its one-year anniversary at 3669 Broadway in Gary.

“It’s hard to believe that we have been open since 2015 and have been at this location for a year already,” said Kelly. “The love we have been shown by this community is overwhelming. It makes us work even harder to deliver the best customer experience any where in the country.”

Festivities for the anniversary weekend include Celebrity Day, Small Business Saturday tributes, raffles, live entertainment and other special surprises. For more information about J’s Breakfast Club, call 219-455-6959 or visit http://www.jsbreakfastclubgary.com.
