IU Northwest plans career fair for community and campus

The Office of Career Services at Indiana University Northwest invites the campus and community to skills workshops designed to help professionals succeed. To prepare individuals for career success, a skills workshop is planned a week in advance of the career fair on April 7.

One of the workshops aavailable to attendees is the Resume & Cover Letter Writing 101 – Noon to 1 p.m., Monday, March 27 and 5 to 6 p.m., Thursday, March 30, both at the John W. Anderson Library Conference Center, room 110.

On the same day attendees have the opportunity to attend the Job Fair Preparation & Etiquette Workshop – 5 to 6 p.m., Monday, March 27 and Noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, March 30 at the Raintree Hall in room 101.

A week later on Friday, April 7, 2017, the 16th Annual Job and Internship Fair will be held at the Savannah Center Gymnasium from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Employers who are recruiting professionals will be on hand to provide information about their companies, take applications and interview candidates. This is an opportunity to seek internships, or part-time or full-time employment.

Attendees are advised to bring copies of their resume and dress professionally.
