It’s a great time to be in business in Gary

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is the nation’s largest public engineering, design, and construction management agency. On Thursday, April 25, 2019, the USACE will host a Contractors Roundtable to inform local contractors and businesses on how to do business with the federal agency.

In partnership with the Gary Storm Water Management District, USACE invites local contractors to participate in this exclusive roundtable discussion on Gary’s Section 219 Projects to: learn about current and upcoming opportunities on these projects; learn how to do business with the federal government and; engage with local contractors and technical assistance providers such as the Indiana Plan for Equal Employment Opportunity.

This type of opportunity makes it a great time to be in business in Gary, Indiana!

The Section 219 Projects have provided for millions of dollars in infrastructure improvements throughout Gary. The Small Business Deputy of the Army Corps who oversees its Chicago and Detroit District will lead the roundtable discussion.

Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. Roundtable discussion is from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Gary Sanitary District located at 3600 W. 3rd Avenue in Gary, Indiana.
