In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s perpetual call of non-violence, students attending selected Chicagoland schools in grades 7 through 12 have been invited to attend this transformative event designed to empower and strengthen the community. Students will participate in small group workshops discussing and focusing on topics surrounding “Becoming” Activists, Knowledgeable and Aware.
