GSU Partners with Area Chambers and Business for Workshops

Governors State University’s School of Extended Learning, in partnership with Robinson Engineering, Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce, and Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce, will present two workshops: Increase Your Revenue with Strategic Planning on Friday, August 18 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Exceptional Customer Service Starts with You on Friday, August 25 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Robinson Engineering’s Frankfort, IL location.

According to Christopher King, president of Robinson Engineering, “Robinson Engineering has been committed to the Southland for 80 years and is happy to partner on these workshops with GSU’s School of Extended Learning in order to help our area businesses grow and thrive. The Southland needs our business communi-

ties to be successful so we can continue to expand and add much needed jobs to our region.”

“We know that the success of a business is dependent on good planning and exceptional customer service. Therefore, it’s important for us to provide our business community with valuable, hands-on information that will help them increase their customer base and drive revenue growth,” said Felicia L. Townsend, external programs manager for the School of Extended Learning.
