The Greater Gary Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 11th year anniversary of the Lakeshore Classic on November 23-24, 2018. Executive Director Chuck Hughes said, “The Lakeshore Classic provides a forum for our student athletes, it brings people into our community and this year we are saluting all Sorority Sisters and Fraternity Brothers with ‘Greeks On Parade.’”
It is an opportunity for the various Greek fraternities and sororities to introduce their organizations to the college students of tomorrow, as each group is featured center court. The Gary Chamber is calling all fraternities and sororities to come out wearing their colors and displaying their banners to distribute information on their organization.
This event also provides an opportunity for these organizations to do fundraising, while sharing their mission. For all game day tickets sold, approximately one third of the proceeds will be donated back to the respective sorority or fraternity.
